Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit assumed charge as the Vice Chief of the Air Staff (VCAS) of the Indian Air Force (IAF), succeeding Air Marshal Nagesh Kapoor.
He previously served as the Chief of Integrated Defence Staff (CISC) at the Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) from 1 May 2025 to 30 June.
