Bihar to Establish Permanent NSTI (Women) Campus and Skill India International Centre in Patna

- The Centre and Bihar government announced a permanent campus for the National Skill Training Institute for Women (NSTI-W) in Patna and a Skill India International Centre (SIIC).
- The permanent NSTI (Women) campus will be developed at Bihta with an investment of ₹99.97 crore.
- The Skill India International Centre will receive around ₹7 crore in central support.
- The new NSTI campus will have an administrative block, academic block, and girls' hostel, and plans to offer 13 trades including Artificial Intelligence, Drone Technician, Solar Technician, and Radiology Technician.
- The proposed annual training capacity of the NSTI campus is 435 trainees.
