Gujarat Data Centre Policy 2026-29 to attract AI and cloud investments

• The Gujarat government is set to unveil the 'Gujarat Data Centre Policy 2026-29' to establish the state as a premier destination for data centre infrastructure, digital innovation, and cloud ecosystem development.
• The policy will be launched by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel to attract investments in hyperscale data centres, cloud infrastructure, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) led digital services.
• The framework is designed to complement the state's push in semiconductors, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), and fintech.
• Reliance Industries has proposed an AI-focused data centre campus at Jamnagar, and Larsen & Toubro (L&T) plans a 250 MW AI-ready data centre at Dholera.
• Other digital infrastructure projects in Gujarat include investments by CtrlS Datacenters and Yotta Data Services in GIFT City, and projects by Henox and SEGNOL.
