Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Campaign: District-Level Competitions for Youth

Key facts

• The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports (MYAS), through Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat), launched the district-level competitions of the 'Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat' campaign on 13th July 2026.
• The initiative aims to combat substance abuse and align youth aspirations with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047.
• The competitions are structured in a three-tier format: District Level, State Level, and National Level.
• The National Finale is scheduled for 12th and 13th August 2026 at the National Youth Summit in New Delhi.
• The competitions are open to youth aged 15 to 29 years for both individual and group entries.
• Five creative categories are featured: Dance, Music, Reel & Short Film, Nukkad Natak, and Slam Poetry.
• Registrations and submissions are conducted via the MY Bharat Portal (mybharat.gov.in) in Hindi, English, or any regional language.
• District-level competitions will take place from 24th to 27th July 2026, and state-level selection rounds will occur from 30th July to 6th August 2026.
