Former Afghanistan fast bowler Shapoor Zadran died at the age of 38 after battling Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) announced his passing and described him as a foundation-laying figure of Afghanistan cricket.
Zadran represented Afghanistan in 44 One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and 36 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) between 2009 and 2020.
He was the most successful bowler for Afghanistan in the 2015 ODI World Cup, claiming 10 wickets.
