AkinAnalytics Launches Indigenous NIKA2 Kisan Medium Drone for Farmers

• Hyderabad-based drone startup AkinAnalytics launched the indigenous NIKA2 Kisan medium drone for agricultural applications.
• Union Agriculture Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled the drone in New Delhi and witnessed its demonstration.
• The NIKA2 is a multi-payload agricultural drone with a 16-litre spraying payload and a 12-litre spreading payload.
• The drone features an easy payload-change mechanism for switching between spraying and spreading applications.
• NIKA2 incorporates terrain-following capability, fail-safe features and night-operation capability.
• The drone can also be used for aquaculture feed distribution besides conventional agriculture.
• Its terrain-following capability is suited for uneven and sloping agricultural landscapes, including tea-growing areas in Shillong and Meghalaya.
• AkinAnalytics is also developing an AI-Augmented Drone product Analytics and Digital Twin technologies to convert drone and field data into actionable intelligence.
• AkinAnalytics operates a DGCA-authorised Remote Pilot Training Organisation in Amalapuram, Andhra Pradesh.
