Fourth Tri-Services Future Warfare Course Begins in New Delhi on 3 August

• The fourth edition of the Tri-Services Future Warfare Course commenced at the Manekshaw Centre in New Delhi on 3 August 2026.
• The four-week course is conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff (HQ IDS) and coordinated by the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS).
• Participants include officers from the three Services and representatives from government organisations, academia, industry and strategic think-tanks.
• The curriculum covers geopolitical developments, artificial intelligence, quantum technologies, cyber warfare, cognitive warfare, information warfare and autonomous systems.
• The course examines future military operations across land, maritime, air and space domains, including grey-zone operations and multi-domain warfare.
• Lectures will be delivered by senior military officers, policymakers, scientists, industry leaders and subject-matter experts.
• The course aims to develop a common understanding of emerging operational challenges among the three Services and other stakeholders.
