KFSDA Commissioner Srinivas K ordered the platforms to remove all Datura listings and advertisements and stop selling or distributing it as a food item.
The order was issued under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006, and the Food Safety and Standards Rules, 2011.
The platforms were directed to submit written undertakings and compliance reports to the Food Safety Commissioner, Bengaluru.
