The Rajasthan Government has unveiled a three-year ₹12,500 crore roadmap for strengthening school infrastructure.
The plan includes construction of 3,587 new school buildings at a cost of ₹2,487.7 crore.
A total of 83,783 classrooms will be built with an expenditure of ₹8,378.3 crore.
Major repairs in 22,589 schools will be carried out at a cost of ₹1,129.5 crore.
The roadmap provides for 13,616 toilet complexes with an estimated cost of ₹340.4 crore.
Under digital education, the plan includes 9,000 smart classrooms, 7,000 ICT labs and 80,000 tablets, with ₹1,087 crore earmarked by December 2026.
School development works worth over ₹3,006 crore have already been sanctioned or are at various stages of completion.
