Satish Golchha, a 1992-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the AGMUT cadre, has been appointed as Director General of Delhi Home Guards.
He will assume charge as Director General (Home Guards) from October 1, 2026.
He will serve as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Directorate of Home Guards until the superannuation of incumbent DG Virender Singh Chahal on September 30, 2026.
The appointment order was issued by the Delhi government's home department on August 26, 2026.
