- National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO) signed a technology licensing agreement with Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) on September 7, 2026 in Dubai for its proposed 0.5 million tonnes per annum brownfield smelter expansion at Anugola in Odisha.
- EGA will provide its DX+ Ultra aluminium smelting technology, covering licence, know-how, designs, technical information and technical support during project stages.
- The expansion will add about 0.5 million tonnes per annum of aluminium capacity, taking NALCO's overall production capacity towards about 1 million tonnes per annum.
