Tamil Nadu Toy Manufacturing Policy 2025 targets global market with dual focus on advanced manufacturing and traditional crafts

Key facts

• The policy introduces targeted incentives for makers of experiential learning toys and products designed for children with special needs.
• Investments above ₹50 crore with a minimum of 50 jobs will qualify for a special incentive package covering fixed capital subsidy, land concessions, stamp duty exemption, training support, quality certification assistance, IP creation subsidy and electricity tax relief.
• MSMEs establishing toy units will receive capital subsidies up to ₹1.5 crore, payroll support, interest reimbursement and IP incentives under the MSME Policy 2021.
• Creative design studios will receive a 30 per cent payroll subsidy for 12 months.
• The policy will be valid for five years, implemented by the Industries Department, with SIPCOT as the nodal agency.
