Key facts

• The Centre for HR Information Systems, Research and Analytics in Governance (CHIRAG) was inaugurated at the SCR Grounds, adjacent to the Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI) in Moula-Ali.
• The centre was inaugurated by Additional Member (HR) V.G. Bhooma to focus on human resource management training, research, and digital transformation in Indian Railways.
• CHIRAG will provide role-based, certified Human Resource Management System (HRMS) training for employees across all cadres and develop an HRMS–MITRA master trainer cadre for deployment at ZRTI.
• The centre will function as a think tank for HR policy formulation and inter-system integration, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and predictive analytics.
• The facility includes state-of-the-art computer laboratories and an iGOT recording studio to support the nationwide dissemination of training programmes.
