DMRC has partnered with Airtel Payments Bank to launch co-branded RuPay On-The-Go NCMC.
The NCMC is an open-loop card designed to enable seamless payments across metro systems, buses, and other transit networks nationwide.
The cards will be available at all DMRC stations within 10 days and can be recharged digitally through the DMRC and Airtel applications.
This initiative aims to advance the One Nation One Card ambition by allowing commuters to use a single card for travel in multiple cities.
The launch ceremony was attended by DMRC Managing Director Vikas Kumar and Airtel Payments Bank MD and CEO Anubrata Biswas.
