- Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch development projects worth more than ₹21,700 crore across Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Lakshadweep on June 5.
- Projects in Gujarat worth ₹18,800 crore include the dedication of Packages VI and VII of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway and the inauguration of a 200-bed Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Hospital in Surat.
- The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the four-laning of National Highway-56 (NH-56) to improve connectivity to the Statue of Unity and develop utility facilities at the Jambusar Bulk Drug Park.
