e-Sushrut clinic: Affordable Cloud-Based Hospital Management Information System

• Union Health Minister J P Nadda will launch e-Sushrut clinic, a lightweight, cloud-based Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC).
• The platform is designed for small outpatient clinics, primary health centres, health and wellness centres, sub-centres, and private outpatient facilities.
• The software integrates Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) features and requires users to be registered under the Health Professional Registry (HPR) and Health Facility Registry (HFR).
• The National Health Authority (NHA) signed a memorandum of understanding with C-DAC to provide financial and operational support, including cloud hosting and SMS notifications.
• The subscription cost is ₹499 per month for up to five users, which is reduced to ₹299 per month following a ₹200 subsidy provided under the NHA-C-DAC partnership.
