Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah launched the pilot project of the Prime Minister Family Care Tracker (PM-FCT) and Health Passport in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency of Gujarat.
The PM-FCT is an integrated digital platform that unifies databases relating to birth and death registration, health, nutrition, education, and social welfare.
The platform is designed to digitally track the health and nutrition of children from the prenatal stage until the age of 16.
The system will automatically generate alerts for missed vaccinations or school dropouts, sending notifications to local officials, legislators, and Members of Parliament (MPs).
The PM eBus Sewa was also inaugurated in Gandhinagar during the event.
