A group of divers established a new Guinness World Records (GWR) for the tallest human stack underwater at Swaraj Dweep in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on 3 May 2026.
The underwater structure reached an official height of 22.3 metres (73.16 feet), as officially measured and recorded by GWR.
Admiral D.K. Joshi (Retd.), the Lieutenant Governor of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, participated in the successful record attempt alongside the diving team.
