- The Ministry of Ayush (MoA) launched the Yoga Park Portal in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, to transform public parks and public spaces into community wellness hubs for yoga, meditation and preventive healthcare.
- The portal was launched by Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ayush and Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Prataprao Jadhav during the 25-day countdown event for International Day of Yoga 2026.
- The platform was unveiled alongside the revamped Yoga Sangam Portal to expand the grassroots reach of yoga and create long-term wellness infrastructure.
- Participating entities for developing and maintaining Yoga Parks include Panchayati Raj Institutions, Urban Local Bodies, Resident Welfare Associations, non-governmental organisations, corporate entities and other institutions.
