Union Minister for Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) Chirag Paswan inaugurated a Common Incubation Center (CIC) on June 28 at Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth (VNMKV) in Parbhani, Maharashtra.
The CIC was established under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan with financial support from the MoFPI.
The project was developed in collaboration with VNMKV and the State-Level Nodal Agency of Maharashtra's Agriculture Department.
The facility aims to strengthen food processing, support agri-entrepreneurs, and help farmers increase the value of their produce.
Maharashtra has emerged as one of the top performers under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme.
