India's Bhargavastra Counter-Drone System to Complete Internal Trials in 2-3 Months

• The indigenous Bhargavastra counter-drone system is developed by Solar Defence and Aerospace Ltd (SDAL).
• Internal trials of the Bhargavastra system are expected to be completed within two to three months.
• The system's radar can detect aerial threats up to 10 kilometres, and its Electro-Optical Tracking System (EOTS) has a range of six kilometres.
• Bhargavastra is designed to counter weaponised drones, loitering munitions, and autonomous drone swarms using a layered engagement architecture.
