Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA) and Data Security Council of India (DSCI) Launch TRL Compass Platform

• The Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA) to the Government of India and the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) launched the TRL Compass Platform on June 29.
• The platform adapts a globally recognised nine-level Technology Readiness Level (TRL) framework to suit India's specific research and industrial needs.
• The framework initially includes dedicated assessment modules for the Software industry and the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals sector.
• The platform is designed to support national programmes including the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) and the Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Fund.
• OPSA and DSCI signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on capability mapping, technology readiness assessments, and the development of a national Technology Radar methodology.
