Uttar Pradesh Launches Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi Portals to Digitise Skill Development System

Key facts

• Uttar Pradesh's Minister of State for Vocational Education, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Kapil Dev Aggarwal, launched the Kaushal Setu and Kaushal Sarathi portals on July 16, 2026.
• Kaushal Setu is the digital portal of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) for online, paperless, and transparent registration and empanelment of Training Partners.
• Kaushal Sarathi provides youth with information about training centres, courses, and Training Partners in their district through a digital map.
• The Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission signed an MoU with KLK Private Limited and Winsome Textile Industries Limited for training and placement in robotics, AI, and textiles.
• A coffee table book titled ‘Skilling the Future Uttar Pradesh, Journey from Training to Transformation’ was released during the event.
