Andhra Pradesh and Australia Sign Four MoUs on Clean Energy, Education and Skills on August 1, 2026

• Andhra Pradesh and Australia signed four MoUs covering clean energy, advanced manufacturing, inclusive education, student mental health and skill development.
• The MoUs were signed in the presence of Andhra Pradesh HRD Minister Nara Lokesh and Australian Assistant Minister Julian Hill MP.
• The first MoU established a Centre of Excellence for Solar Manufacturing at IIT Tirupati, involving the state government's Centre of Excellence for Energy Transition (CoEET), IIT Tirupati and the University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney.
• The second MoU was signed between UNSW, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam and Samagra Shiksha to strengthen inclusive education across Andhra Pradesh.
• The APSCHE and Australian organisation Rebound will implement a technology-enabled student mental health pilot project in selected higher educational institutions.
• The APSSDC and Australia's Dynamic Learning Services signed an MoU to strengthen vocational education, industry-oriented skill training, globally recognised certifications and international employment pathways.
