Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) delivered the multi-purpose vessel 'MS Maria' to German shipping company HS Schiffahrts UG & Co. KG.
The MS Maria is the second of eight vessels in the HS EcoFreighter series ordered by the German firm.
The ice-class vessel has a deadweight tonnage of 7,000 and is designed by Netherlands-based Groot Ship Design.
It is built to Det Norske Veritas (DNV) classification rules and features a Groot Cross-Bow design for fuel efficiency.
CSL also delivered the seventh Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW SWC) to the Indian Navy in July 2026.
