DRDO invites Indian firms to develop and produce missile and guided bomb systems under DcPP programme

• Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has invited Indian firms to develop and produce missile and guided bomb systems under its Development Cum Production Partner (DcPP) programme.
• DRDO's Research Centre Imarat (RCI) issued Expression of Interest RCI/DcPP/EOI/001 to shortlist potential Development Cum Production Partners for projects under the DG (MSS) Cluster.
• Proposals must be submitted by September 24, 2026; a technical interaction is scheduled for September 2, 2026, and proposals will be opened on September 25, 2026.
• Shortlisted firms will be considered for project-specific Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and generally two DcPP firms will be selected for each project.
• Eligible firms need a minimum annual turnover of ₹100 crore, minimum net worth of ₹34 crore, profitability in at least two of the last five years, and a minimum long-term credit rating of BBB (stable).
• Selected partners must have or build explosive storage capacity of at least five tonnes, including TNT and RDX, within one year of a production order.
• Evaluation will be based on 100 marks, with firms required to score more than 60% overall and at least 50% in each technical compliance category.
• Transfer of technology will be provided free of cost on a non-exclusive basis after successful completion of the DRDO development project phase.
