On August 5, 2026, Telangana Police launched the AI-powered Next-Gen 112 platform at the Telangana Integrated Command and Control Centre (TGiCCC) in Hyderabad.
The system brings together Police, Fire Services, Ambulance, Women Safety, Child Protection and Disaster Response under the single emergency number 112.
It uses location-based services, advanced location services and Google Maps to pinpoint the caller's location.
The platform identifies and recommends the nearest available patrol vehicle from a fleet of 1,860 digitally integrated vehicles across all 31 police units.
