• Birkbeck, University of London has received the Letter of Approval from the University Grants Commission to establish and operate its Bengaluru campus.
• The approval follows a Letter of Intent and marks the final regulatory step under UGC's 2023 regulations for foreign higher educational institutions.
• The Bengaluru campus will be located at Sattva Tech Park.
• The campus will offer undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in business management and business analytics, awarded by the University of London.
• Tuition costs are estimated to be up to 60 per cent lower than studying in the UK.
• This venture is Birkbeck's first overseas campus.
