The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) will include special QR codes on its notices from May 1 to verify their genuineness.
Verification will be conducted through an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered chatbot named ABHAY.
The ABHAY chatbot is available on the CBI website and checks the agency's database to determine if a document is genuine or forged.
The QR codes on the notices will also include the expiry dates of the documents.
The initiative was launched by the Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant at the 22nd D P Kohli Memorial Lecture.
