Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) facilitates first commercial sea shipment of Banganapalle mangoes to Singapore

• The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, in collaboration with the ICAR-Central Institute for Subtropical Horticulture (CISH), Lucknow, facilitated the first commercial sea shipment of premium Banganapalle mangoes to Singapore.
• The consignment consisted of 5 metric tonnes (MT) of mangoes exported by M/s Osum Food Solutions LLP, dispatched on June 11, 2026, and arriving on June 24, 2026.
• The mangoes were sourced from Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)-certified orchards in Andhra Pradesh and processed at an APEDA-recognised packhouse in Karnataka.
• The shipment was received by the Singapore-based importer EC-Links Pte Ltd.
• The export consignment realised approximately ₹50 per kilogram, nearly doubling the domestic market price which ranged between ₹25 and ₹26 per kilogram.
