Key facts

  • The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) will convene the 16th Conference of the Central Council of Health and Family Welfare (CCHFW) on June 29 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
  • The CCHFW is the apex advisory body of the MoHFW, constituted under Article 263 of the Constitution.
  • The MoHFW will launch Aarogya Setu 2.0, a Personal Health Record (PHR) application for managing Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA), accessing digital health records, and integrating wearable devices.
  • Digital health initiatives launched under the National Health Authority (NHA) and National Resource Centre for EHR Standards (NRCeS) include the upgraded Ayushman App, Ayushman Sarathi (WhatsApp chatbot), National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX), Unified Health Interface (UHI), and e-Sushrut Clinic.
