The Election Commission of India (ECI) announced a one-time honorarium of ₹6,000 each for Booth Level Officers (BLOs) and BLO Supervisors.
The honorarium is in recognition of the heavy workload during the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
The one-time payment is over and above the existing annual remuneration of BLOs and Supervisors.
