The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) and NIFTEM-Thanjavur launched a pilot Short-Term Skill Training Programme (STSTP) at ITC-ICML, Trichy on 03 July 2026.
The programme is for Assistant Baking Technician (NSQF Level 3) Certificate and the first batch comprises 18 trainees.
The training is industry-integrated, conducted at the ITC facility from 07 July to 20 August 2026, and trainees are assured employment at ITC Ltd.
