RAAHI fare-free electric bus service launched for President's Estate residents

• President Droupadi Murmu launched the RAAHI (Rashtrapati Bhavan Access and Heritage Interconnector) fare-free electric bus service for residents and staff of the President's Estate.
• The RAAHI bus service is operated entirely by women drivers and conductors and connects the estate to the nearest Metro station.
• The service caters to women, children, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities.
• Murmu also launched an application-based e-Audio Guide for visitors to Rashtrapati Bhavan, available in Hindi, English, 14 other Indian languages, and a sign-language module.
• The third edition of e-Upahaar was launched, featuring 300 curated Presidential gifts for public auction from August 5 to September 5.
• The President inaugurated Bachpan 'Bal Parisar', comprising the 'Kilkari' play zone and 'Samarth Anganwadi-cum-Palna', for children in the President's Estate.
• Foundation stones were laid for a service block under the Net Zero Energy Strategy and for the redevelopment of staff quarters in the President's Estate.
