• The Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana (MAAY) is a health insurance scheme launched by the Government of Rajasthan, formerly known as the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana.
• The scheme provides cashless coverage up to ₹25 Lakh per family per year, along with up to ₹10 Lakh accidental insurance cover.
• Beneficiaries under the free registration category include households listed under NFSA, SECC 2011, small and marginal farmers, contractual state workers, and destitute families receiving COVID-19 ex-gratia support.
• Households not covered under the free category can enroll by paying an annual premium of ₹850, with the state government paying the remaining 50% of the actual insurance cost.
• The scheme covers over 1,700 medical and surgical packages including advanced tertiary care such as open-heart surgeries, organ transplants, and cancer therapies.
• Registration can be done online via the SSO portal (sso.rajasthan.gov.in) or offline through e-Mitra centres in Rajasthan.
