UIDAI Waives ₹75 Fee for Aadhaar Email Updates via Mobile App

• The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has announced a temporary waiver of the ₹75 fee for updating email addresses through the Aadhaar mobile application.
• The fee waiver for email address updates will be effective for a six-month period from July 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
• This promotional offer is exclusively applicable to updates made through the Aadhaar mobile application and does not cover other modes of updating Aadhaar details.
• The Aadhaar mobile application offers services including mobile number updates, address updates, biometric lock/unlock, selective sharing of Aadhaar verifiable credentials, authentication history checks, e-Aadhaar downloads, and contact card sharing.
• An Aadhaar Number Holder (ANH) is defined as an individual who has been assigned a 12-digit Aadhaar number by the UIDAI.
