DARPG to Receive Rajbhasha Utkrishtta Sammaan 2025-26 on September 14, 2026

• The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has been selected for the Rajbhasha Utkrishtta Sammaan 2025-26 by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
• DARPG had earlier received the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar (First) for two consecutive years, 2023-24 and 2024-25.
• The special honour will be presented to DARPG during the Hindi Diwas Sammelan in Navi Mumbai on September 14, 2026.
• Hindi Diwas is celebrated annually on September 14 and marks the adoption of Hindi as one of India's official languages.
• On September 14, 1949, the Constituent Assembly designated Hindi in the Devanagari script as the official language of the Union of India.
• The Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs has been promoting the use of Hindi in official matters since its inception in 1975.
