PMFME Conclave 2026 Inaugurated; PMFME Bazaar Showcases Micro Food Enterprises from 25 States and UTs

• The Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI) organised the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme (PMFME) Conclave 2026 on August 24-25, 2026 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
• The Conclave brought together over 500 stakeholders to strengthen the micro food processing ecosystem and enhance access to finance, technology and markets.
• Union Minister Chirag Pashwan inaugurated both the PMFME Conclave and the PMFME Bazaar.
• The PMFME Bazaar featured exhibitors from 25 States and Union Territories showcasing uniqe, ethnic and traditional food products.
• The Bazaar provided a platform for micro food processing enterprises, Self Help Groups (SHGs), Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), cooperatives and individual entrepreneurs.
• A Coffee Table Book featuring 30 success stories of PMFME beneficiaries was launched during the inaugural programme.
• Three MoUs were signed with APEDA, ONDC, and NABKISAN to strengthen market and institutional linkages for PMFME beneficiaries.
• Chirag Paswan emphasised the for a stronger PMFME 2.0 to respond to the evolving needs of micro food processing enterprises.
