West Bengal Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY 2026: ₹5 Lakh Health Cover for Eligible Families

• West Bengal officially implemented the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) on August 16, 2026.
• Under AB-PMJAY, eligible families in West Bengal get cashless treatment up to ₹5 lakh per family per year on a family floater basis.
• The scheme targets over 1.43 crore eligible families, individuals above 70 years, and frontline health workers such as ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and Anganwadi helpers.
• Beneficiaries from West Bengal can avail treatment at over 36,000 empanelled public and private hospitals across India.
