India and Denmark Hold 4th Joint Working Group Meeting on MSME and Innovation in Copenhagen

Key facts

• The 4th meeting of the India–Denmark Joint Working Group (JWG) on MSME development, innovation and intellectual property was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, from 24 to 28 August 2026.
• The JWG operates between India's Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and the Danish Patent and Trademark Office (DKPTO).
• The Indian delegation was led by Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of MSME.
• Discussions covered technology adoption, innovation, intellectual property, technology commercialisation, entrepreneurship and cluster-based MSME development.
• The delegation visited Aarhus University Innovation Kitchen and Agro Food Park to study Denmark's innovation support and business cluster ecosystems.
• The delegation participated in the Nordic–India Startup Summit 2026 organised by TechBBQ.
